Data-Link FAQ

Data-link is a high speed data communication link used between after-market electronic devices. In our case, it allows the remote-starter or alarm-system and the immobilizer bypass or interface module(s) to share a variety of different information. Using the data-link port for communication between these devices reduces the amount of wiring required during installation.

UltraStart

UltraStart remote-starters and alarms are manufactured by Applicated Security Technologies, Inc. The majority of their products are compatible with both our 1-way and 2-way data-link port, but they do not support tachometer through data.
