FLASH-LINK UPDATER Software v1.4 released

We've released a new version of the FLASH-LINK UPDATER software to correct an issue with content-filtering firewalls that was preventing some users from updating the firmware on their product. This mostly affected users with Sonicwall hardware based firewalls that had configured additional (non default) access restrictions on TCP connections.

We modified the TCP request and added a user-agent string to the request in order to prevent the content-filtering firewall from denying the connection due to a false-positive proxy request.

If you are experiencing issues with the older version(s) of the software you are urged to un-install your current version and install the new 1.4 version of the software. The latest version of this software can be downloaded here.
