Lock, unlock and/or trunk-release not functioning. (CHRDAA v7.0)

Symptom

Version 7.0 only, the lock, unlock, or trunk release is not functioning.

Cause

This is a hardware bug that has been revised in all newer versions, and is not affected in older versions. The bypass kit requires a perfect ground from the remote-starter or alarm.

Solution

The output(s) from the remote-starter or alarm that do not function will need to be stiffened by using a standard relay. (Pin 85: +12 constant, Pin 86: negative output from remote starter, Pin 87: ground, Pin 30: input to bypass kit).
