Security light comes on after key inserted.

Symptom

The security light stays on after the vehicle has sucessfully remote-started, and after the key is inserted and turned to the on position.

Cause

The OEM PK3 transponder module is communicating synchronously with the GM SL on the vehicles databus.

Solution

Use the GM SL's connector 2, and interrupt the vehicle's PK3 ignition wire (pink, yellow, or white) with the GM SL's pink and pink/black. See the installation diagram for more information.
