Accessory cuts out on lock/unlock.

Symptom

The heater / accessories cut out whenever the door(s) are locked / unlocked with either the remote-starter, OEM key-fob, or door switch.


Cause

The module's ground reference differs from that of the MUX (multiplex) line at the key barrel.


Solution

Ground the module at the key-barrel. This wire is normally purple/orange, usually the other unused purple wire at the key barrel.
