Door locks do not function with EVO-CHR.
Symptom
The vehicle is equipped with keyless entry, but the door locks do not function with the remote-starter.
Cause
The EVO-CHR did not detect the factory key-fob during step 9 of the programming sequence.
Solution
During step 9 of the programming sequence:
If the vehicle is equipped with keyless entry:
- Press either the LOCK or UNLOCK button on the factory keyless remote.
- The LED will turn OFF to indicate that the programming is complete.
- If the EVO-CHR is unplugged before this step is complete, restart the programming sequence from step 1.
If the vehicle is NOT equipped with keyless entry:
- Press and release the programming button on the EVO-CHR.
- Confrim that the button clicks to ensure that it is not stuck against the case.
- The LED will turn OFF to indicate that the programming is complete.
- If the EVO-CHR is unplugged before this step is complete, restart the programming sequence from step 1.
