Factory alarm triggers when remote-starting with EVO-CHR.

Symptom

The factory alarm triggers when remote-starting and the unlock-before/relock-after remote-start programming option has been enabled on the remote-starter programming options - but unlock/relock does not work.

Cause

The EVO-CHR has not been programmed to disarm the factory alarm before remote-start.

Solution

During the EVO-CHR programming - after the key has been turned to the ON position and the LED starts flashing - press UNLOCK on the remote-starter's remote OR ground the EVO-CHR's Purple/White wire for 1 second. Then complete the remainder of the programming procedure as described in the installation guide. Disable the unlock-before and relock-after remote-start option in the remote-starter's programming.
