An enhanced version of the FLASH-LINK updater is now available and we're delivering a new updated version of the Windows FLASH-LINK Software to accompany it.

Several features and module options can now be customized with the FLASH-LINK menu. Simply point-and-click to enable or disable specific functionality preloaded in our data integration modules. This fine-grained control allows you to offer customized services to each of your customers, and provides you with the ability to up-sell a basic remote car starter or security installation with several different "add-on" features.

Disable any of the following features which are enabled by default:

• Door Locks - Door lock & unlock control.
• Trunk Release - Trunk / hatch release.
• Key Bypass - Immobilizer bypass.
• Heated Seats & Rear Defrost - Automatic low temperature heated seats & rear-defrost control.
• Foot-Brake Output - Foot-brake output.
• Hand-Brake Output - Hand-brake output.
• Door Trigger - Door trigger output.
• Trunk Trigger - Trunk / hatch trigger output.
• Hood Trigger - Hood trigger output.
• Auxiliary 1 - Vehicle specific function. (e.g. Right Sliding Door, Power Lift Gate)
• Auxiliary 2 - Vehicle specific function. (e.g. Left Sliding Door, Gas Cap Release)

Enable any of the following features which are disabled by default:

• Unlock/Lock (Disarm OEM Alarm) - Automatically unlock & disarm before remote-start and re-lock & re-arm after remote-start.
• Unlock Drivers Door Only - Simulate the OEM key-fob with driver's door priority unlock on 1st unlock signal. All doors unlock on 2nd unlock signal.
• Aftermarket alarm control via OEM remote - Monitor the vehicle's databus and synchronizes the remote car starter or security system with the OEM remote allowing the customer to use either remote.
• Engine-Start via OEM remote - Remote start the vehicle when the OEM remote's lock button is pressed 3x times.

The EVO-ALL and EVO-CAN (Hardware 3+) supports customized options. No Internet connection is required to enable or disable an option. Customizing an option will enable or disable both the analog wire and the respective data-link code. All options depend on the vehicle's available features.

The Essentials
What you need to get started.

FLASH-LINK (Hardware 2+, Firmware 2.00+) is required. "FLASH LINK" & "FLASH-LINK-2" with firmware version 1.xx can not be updated and will need to be exchanged*. All previous FLASH-LINK versions should be exchanged with your distributor for an upgrade. Please contact your distributor for more details.

* FLASH-LINK (Hardware 2+, Firmware 2.00+) is self update-able. Once you have obtained the latest version of FLASH-LINK any future firmware updates will no longer require an exchange.

BMW & Mini Cooper slot key ignition interface kit for both automatic and manual transmissions now available. Universal solution supports all brands of remote-starters/alarms with connectivity through either wire-to-wire or Fortin Data-Link installations.

Secures the vehicle by monitoring the door locks and foot-brake. The driver simply has to unlock the doors with the remote-starter, enter the vehicle, put the vehicle in to gear and drive away. There is no need to insert the key fob in to the key port. Press the PTS button or key fob once to shutdown the vehicle at any time.

To engage ready-mode on manual transmission a small tab must be shaved off inside the key port so the key fob can be removed while the engine is running. The driver can engage ready-mode by engaging the remote-starter, remove the key fob from the key port and exit the vehicle.

T-Harness allows rapid integration with most BMW and Mini Cooper slot-key PTS vehicles.

In November 2006 Fortin Electronic Systems was the first to bring you a Nissan/Infiniti PTS solution with the CAN-SL. Our Nissan/Infiniti solution has evolved with the EVO-ALL and EVO-CAN once again! Save 1+1/2 hours on all Push-to-Start, 1 hour on Intelli-Key and 20 minutes on Regular Key remote-starter installations.

Both the EVO-ALL and EVO-CAN can now be installed near the steering column directly at the key-port, push-to-start button and at the foot-brake. There is no longer any need to make any remote-starter connections at the BCM (except lock/unlock).

Fortin Electronic Systems has made its 2010+ General Motors flip-key solution even easier. A T-Harness can now be used with the EVO-ALL to perform a full remote-starter and security installation in less than 15 minutes.

The EVO-ALL performs immobilizer bypass through data at the key cylinder and security/convenience through CAN. Features include RAP shutdown, door locks, OEM alarm control, hood and trunk trigger, heated seats, foot-brake, hand-brake and tachometer status output. All connections are at the steering column. No connections are required at the LIN module, BCM or in the door.

The T-Harness plugs directly in to the ignition harness on:
